Project: Yuma Bachelor Housing
Use: Enlisted Marine Barracks
Location: MCAS Yuma, AZ
Structural Services: Engineering services for this two phase project included two 2-story buildings to create 141,000 SF of dormitory style construction. The design required considerations for anti-terrorism per the Unified Facility Criteria. Using the same framing materials as previous BEQs and current required specifications, we proposed a new alternate detailing approach. The contractor confirmed this approach allowed the construction schedule to realize significant savings.
