Project: 29 Palms Battalion Headquarters
Use: USMC Air-Ground Training
Location: Twentynine Palms, CA

Structural Services: This 2-story, 130,000 SF complex included anti-terrorism design requirements per the Unified Facility Criteria (UFC). An offset in the building perimeter combined with a requirement for split face CMU exterior walls provided detailing challenges within the supporting framing system.

Lemoore Air Control Tower

Project: Lemoore Air Control Tower
Use: Air Traffic Control Tower
Location: NAS Lemoore, CA

Structural Services: This 120-foot tall, 10-story steel framed airport control tower required anti-terrorism design (ATFP) to resist progressive collapse. The control tower cab was constructed on the ground and lifted into place by crane.
